Assistant Chief Operator-Sewer Department

The Town of Webster is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Chief Operator for the Sewer Department to assist in the inspection, maintenance, and operation of the wastewater treatment facility and related equipment. The Assistant Chief Operator may serve as the Chief Operator in their absence. They will assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and related infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operating conditions. Should have proficient mechanical ability. Must have the ability to perform and analyze laboratory tests and keep detailed records. Applicant shall have 3 to 5 years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, licensure, and experience. A Grade 6 Wastewater Treatment Operator’s license is required, and a Grade 7 must be obtained within 6 months. Class B Driver’s license.
