Majani Soulful Vegan Restaurant in Chicago, IL is looking for one cashier/line cook to join our intimate 8 person team. We are located on 7167 South Exchange Avenue. Our ideal candidate is honest, reliable, a self-starter, motivated, and engaged and has great customer service skills. Must be a team player, willing to learn all stations including line cook.

Responsibilities
Greet customers entering and leaving the business
Maintain a clean and tidy work area including restroom
Accurately process all cash and credit payments
Provide exceptional customer service
Serve customers and clear tables
Work as line cook when scheduled
Maintain clean and tidy line cook station
Qualifications
Proven working experience as a cashier and line cook. Good customer service skills.
Alleregen and food handler certificate are required within the first 30 days
Basic mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail, and know how to keep line clean and tidy under pressure
Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Must be a team player
Must be willing and able to follow direction from Chefs, (yes chef no chef) and understand brigade style work environment
