Incumbents are expected to learn the full range of duties/responsibilities. Level I Tech must promote to Level II Tech within six months of employment.**Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:**EDUCATION
High School diploma (GED) preferred
EXPERIENCE
Level II: Two year recent experience in OR and/or SPD preferred
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
CCST - Certified Registered Central Service Tech **or**
CSPD - Certified Sterile Processing/Distribution Tech **or**
CSPT - Certified Sterile Processing Tech
Basic Life Support Required at hirePREREQUISITE SKILLS
1. Knowledge of case cart assembly
2. Knowledge of surgical instrumentation
3. Knowledge of medical terminology
4. General knowledge of implants & surgical supplies
5.
