to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.**Job Details*** Full-time 40-hour work weeks.* Support the Information Services Division.* Salary is up to $90,000 based on education and experience.* This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.**Position Summary**The Technical Architect I supports IT Enterprise Governance by assisting in the design and implementation of technical architecture solutions for modernization and transformation projects. This role collaborates with senior architects and cross-functional teams to develop architecture drawings, define technical user stories, and ensure adherence to established standards and guardrails. The Technical Architect I contributes to technical analysis, documentation, and visualization of desired state architectures, while providing input into strategic direction based on research and business needs. Additionally, this position prepares artifacts, presents technical details to stakeholders, and continuously learns best practices to support OMES, partner agencies, and IT Enterprise Governance.**Key Responsibilities*** Collaborate with Technical Architects and cross-functional teams (Technical Owners, Developers, Testers, Infrastructure experts, Product Owners, and Vendors) to support the delivery of resilient technical platforms, solutions, and software.* Assist in developing and maintaining technical architecture drawings and documentation.* Contribute to defining technical user stories and participate in solution testing and acceptance.* Support the implementation of technical guardrails, standards, and quality measures under guidance from senior architects.* Participate in modernization and transformation projects by preparing standard artifacts and assisting with technical analysis.* Document technical findings clearly and concisely for stakeholders.* Assist in conceptualizing and visualizing desired state technical architectures.* Consume research and analyze business needs to provide input into technical direction.* Present technical details and updates to stakeholders using Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools.* Continuously learn and apply best practices in enterprise architecture and governance.* Other duties as assigned.**Physical Demands and Work Environment**This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.**Minimum Qualifications**Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical major and 2+ years of professional experience in software development, including 1+ years of architecture or an equivalent combination of education and work experience**Preference will be given to candidates who possess*** Extensive experience with cloud, modernization, and mainframe architecture, integration methodologies and tools* Demonstrated experience with working with APIs, databases, and process automation and tooling* Experience delivering technical solutions using .NET, MS Dynamics 365, SQL server, firewalls, load balancers, Jira, Confluence* Experience working with ambiguous business requirements and driving towards technical solutions**About**The Office of Management and Enterprise Services provides excellent service, expert guidance and continuous improvement in support of our partners’ goals.
