is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for our client in the Browns Summit area.
This position is responsible for leading a team on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work overtime as required.
Job Duties
Lead and supervise production team members, including operators and setup technicians.
Prioritize safety — enforce company safety policies, participate in audits and incident investigations.
Ensure products meet quality specifications through monitoring and corrective actions.
Manage shift production schedules, monitor metrics, and maintain documentation.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Engineering, and HR to address issues and drive process improvements.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other efficiency projects.
Train and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and coach for growth.
Foster a positive, performance-focused, team-oriented work environment.
Coordinate with other leads and supervisors to handle change-overs.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Solid communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
