Security Officer

Continental has been in business since 1919, protecting our client’s businesses, property, and special events. Continental is a full-service contract security company providing security services to our clients in the city of Toledo, as well as the rest of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia. JOB DESCRIPTION Includes but is not limited to: Security Officers will manage access control points and monitor camera systems. Security officers may perform patrols to ensure the safety and security of client’s property and equipment from vandalism and theft. Patrols may be conducted on foot or by vehicle. Security Officers can work out of office buildings, guard shacks, construction sites, personal vehicles, or company vehicles. Security Officers will have to complete Daily Activity Reports every shift and Incident Reports when necessary. Security Officer will need to be customer service orientated, have great verbal and written communication skills. REQUIREMENTS Security Officers must have strong Customer Service and Written Skills, prior Security Experience, or military experience. In lieu of work experience, Security Officers may have equivalent experience in education in Criminal Justice or related fields of study. Security Officers must have knowledge of contract security industry. This is a FT/32 hour 2nd shift position Must have reliable transportation. Must have a valid Driver's License Must pass a Criminal Background check Must pass a Drug Screen Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED Prefer Strong Security skills Must have excellent Customer Service Skills Education Requirements (All)
