Distribution Center Operations Specialist – Wesco – North America • Sparks, NV, US
Job Description Step Into a Day at Wesco It’s 10:00 a.m. and the facility comes alive. You clock in Monday through Friday (no weekends) and head to your station. First up: receive inbound freight, check it against paperwork, and log details so everything is traceable. You verify supplier returns, enter order receipts, and move materials where they’re needed most. Later, you’ll prep orders—cut wire to specification, perform light assembly, build packing lists, then pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks so customers get what they need on time.
Throughout the day, you’ll operate warehouse equipment (including forklifts and other power equipment), navigate basic computer systems, and use your problem‑solving skills to keep the pace steady and safe.

What You’ll Do
Receive and document inbound shipments; complete log sheets
Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts
Relocate, consolidate, and organize material
Prepare and assemble packing lists; cut wire and perform light assembly
Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks
Maintain general organization and cleanliness of assigned areas
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED preferred
Forklift experience
1+ year of warehouse operations experience preferred
Basic computer literacy and practical problem‑solving
Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
Willingness to operate warehouse and power equipment
Proficiencies That Help You Succeed
Warehouse experience; material handling experience
Loading and unloading vehicles
Meets physical requirements
High School / GED
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills
Compensation $17.01 – $20.41 per hour
