Floor Tech Location:
Boynton Beach, Florida Shift:
Part-Time | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Base pay range $17.00/hr - $17.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Respect and uphold residents’ rights and privacy at all times.
Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
Promptly report complaints, incidents, or allegations of abuse, neglect, or property misappropriation.
Follow safety and infection control policies, using proper safety equipment.
Participate in fire and disaster drills.
Wash, wax, seal, and buff facility floors according to schedule.
Maintain and properly store floor care equipment.
Clean windows, sweep outdoor areas, and remove debris to maintain facility appearance.
Perform light maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, cleaning vents, washing garbage cans).
Assist with cleaning and lubricating resident care equipment (wheelchairs, shower chairs).
Use cleaning supplies efficiently and keep all areas neat and orderly.
Attend in-service trainings, staff meetings, and quality assurance programs.
Collaborate with team members to promote a positive and safe work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma preferred
Experience in nursing homes or healthcare facilities required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, and crouch as needed
Experience operating floor care equipment
