Job Summary The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence empowers team members across Horizon Next with increased access to data. They ensure both technical and non‑technical team members have the data they need to make informed decisions and contribute to the BI team’s goal of creating scalable data products and solutions across our client portfolio.

What You’ll Do Develop and enhance the data and analytics capabilities of Horizon Next – 70%

Lead and own data modeling and reporting efforts for individual clients, ensuring data availability for planning and optimizing media campaigns.

Partner with senior BI members on cross‑client data modeling and reporting to maximize accessibility.

Integrate disparate data sources by building data models usable by technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Create and maintain automated data tests to guarantee high data quality across all models.

Collaborate with Data Engineering to ingest new data sources into the warehouse and integrate them into models.

Prototype new data products to expand BI offerings and capabilities.

Build visualizations and dashboards that surface trends and insights for business teams and clients.

Mentor teammates and share expertise to advance their skills.

3>Drive education and adoption of data products across teams – 30%

Serve as liaison between the Analytics team and other internal teams regarding data sources, access, and availability.

Educate non‑technical teammates on data products and best practices for data‑driven decision making.

Work with clients to understand their data and create meaningful KPIs for media campaigns.

Who You Are

Experience in media, advertising, or direct‑response industries.

Background in data or analytics, with a focus on building processes, automation, and tooling.

History of automating and improving processes to reduce manual effort.

Strong background in SQL and experience with Python in a professional setting.

Proven ability to work effectively with business and engineering/technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable experience.

2‑4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related field.

2‑3 years of experience in media, advertising, or similar industry.

2‑3 years using SQL in a professional environment.

1‑2 years experience using Python or similar programming language.

1‑2 years with a cloud data warehouse such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Experience with query engines like Presto, Hive, or Spark SQL.

Experience with BI or dashboard tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Domo.

Experience with dbt (data build tool).

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations No required certifications, licenses, or registrations.

Physical Activity & Work Environment Prefer candidates who can work in east‑coast hours. No specific physical activity or work environment requirements.

Salary Range Salary Range:

$95,000.00 – $115,000.00. Actual base salary may vary based on skills, experience, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications.
