General Summary As Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for growing Music Brands through strategic sales activity. Your day-to-day will include managing your sales pipeline, creatively researching and sourcing new prospects and opportunities, conducting demo meetings and processing new orders.

You will sit directly with the Sales team, work in close collaboration with the Customer Success and Customer Support Teams and report to the Manager, Sales.

Core Functions:

Strategize on building the sales pipeline.

Research qualified prospects using a consultative sales approach.

Engage with and develop new business prospects through cold outreach.

Maintain a consistent level of prospecting and lead qualifying activity.

Build, manage, and maintain sales pipeline and sales activities in CRM

Create and nurture relationships with prospects and customers.

Practice empathetic persistence in your approach to communicate with, educate, and listen to prospective customers.

Manage scheduling and conferencing tools to communicate effectively.

Support the sales team with administrative tasks that support and accelerate sales.

Track company and individual performance and progress toward targets.

Requirements Required Qualifications:

Prior sales experience, preferably managing a sales pipeline in B2B SaaS.

Understanding of EdTech and Music EdTech

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to display a sense of urgency and priority within your work.

Excellent probing and listening skills with the ability to assess a prospect’s ‘fit’.

Previous experience balancing working independently with minimal supervision and working collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing position

Experience with HubSpot

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to deliver results

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to identify opportunities and to develop and implement effective sales strategies

Benefits Compensation: We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly compensation range for this role in Colorado is $23.34 - $38.46. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.
