Position Overview The OSP Project Manager is responsible for executing assigned OSP fiber network design projects across multiple markets, directing OSP Engineers and CAD/GIS technicians to ensure work is completed on time and within budget to the required project standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee and drive the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH design project.
Monitor design progress, oversee design scheduling, and track design status to schedule.
Interface with the client’s design team, build strong working relationships, provide regular status updates to the JSI Project Manager, and facilitate design alignment meetings.
Coordinate closely with the field construction team to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
Attend regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on progress and manage risks.
Demonstrate strong leadership, people skills, and problem‑solving abilities.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or professional engineer certification is preferred.
5+ years of experience successfully managing complex OSP FTTH design projects.
High degree of professionalism and integrity.
Strong sense of urgency; agile in fast‑paced environments, multi‑tasking, and project reprioritization.
Strong written and oral communication skills, and listening and interpretation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).
Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and other GIS platforms.
Position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
