Manager, Product Management - Instrument Authoring Experience (IAX) Team Manager, Product Management (PXDP50)

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.

About the Team The IAX Engagement team sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. We are the bridge between the complex technical capabilities of the Prometheus Financial Core (PFC) and the strategic goals of our Lines of Business (Card, Bank, and Auto Finance). We ensure that our partners can effectively translate their business intent (e.g., rewards, interest, fees) into compliant technical Instruments that run on our core.

What You’ll Do You are a strategic operator who thrives in complexity. You will manage high‑stakes relationships with Line of Business (LOB) leaders, intake complex requirements, and ensure alignment between business strategy and the technical feasibility of the platform.

Strategic Alignment:

Partner with LOB leaders (Card, Bank, Auto) to align their business goals with platform capabilities. You will manage use cases ranging from "Dealer Auto Loans" to "Card Recoveries" and "Bank Holds".

Governance & Intake:

Act as the gatekeeper for what enters the platform. You will uphold the principle that LOBs are the "Data Owners" responsible for their schemas while the platform acts as the "Custodian".

Cross‑Functional Leadership:

Drive strategy without direct authority, using influence and data to align diverse stakeholders on a common roadmap.

Consultative Communication:

Create and deliver "consultant‑grade" decks that clarify strategy, manage expectations, and drive decision‑making at the leadership level.
