Job Summary We are looking for a SHIPPING INSPECTOR to prepare parts for safe transit via common carrier.
This includes stamping, sorting, wrapping, and packaging parts to ensure accurate outgoing shipments while maintaining supporting documentation.
Job Requirements
Work safely and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Strong commitment to good attendance and punctuality, which is critical to meet production needs.
Package and prepare parts (described above) for shipment.
Verify that orders are correct in terms of quantity and style to ensure shipment accuracy.
Collaborate in the loading and unloading of trucks and perform quality assurance checks.
Determine sufficient packaging methods, shipping charges, print and affix labels, prepare bills of lading, and confirm compliance with shipping specifications.
Maintain accurate record‑keeping for all outgoing and incoming packages and inventory.
Guarantee proper storage and security of all products and materials.
Ensure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job‑specific travelers.
On‑the‑job training will be provided for this position.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed by the department manager.
Skill Requirements
Wear proper personal protection equipment in the work area at all times.
Operate in a drug‑free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
Work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
