Administrative Assistant - Project Scheduler

TYPICAL DUTIES: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
Works with project teams and planners to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), schedules and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to meet program, project or customers reporting requirements.
Analyzes production specification, ship installation drawings, NAVSEA Standard Items as required to produce production tracking reports.
Assists and updates IMS and POAM’s with program and contractual changes to determine impacts to the installation plan.
Receives and enters engineering and production progress in the project schedules and analyzes changes to the schedule after updating.
Prepares and presents production status reports, manning curves and assists with other performance reports.
Analyzes resource loaded plan and provides report to Production Management on labor requirements by trade.
Assists with updating Project Management teams through weekly reports on project status.
Performs any other assignments or tasks as needed or requested by management to assist in accomplishing the organization’s mission, objectives, and goals.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience using MS Project and Excel expertise in MS Project to include Scheduling, Resource Loading, and Critical Path Analysis
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Preferred Skills: Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Location: Crossways Office building - Chesapeake, VA
U.S. Citizenship Required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.29 - $29.90. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
