We are hiring immediately for a full-time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering up to a $15,000 Sign On Bonus.
Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance and Repair: Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems. Ensure work is completed timely and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Inspection and Documentation: Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems. Ensure compliance with FAR 43 documentation requirements while maintaining accurate written reports in logs and inspection documents.
Parts Management: Order and obtain necessary parts for aircraft repairs, ensuring cores are returned per established procedures.
Safety and Quality Control: Ensure all maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, or specialized services comply with Quality Control procedures while monitoring the work environment and correcting unsafe acts.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to meet customer expectations, assisting mechanics and avionic technicians as needed.
Mobile Service Vehicle Maintenance: Assist the Lead MST in inspecting, maintaining, and servicing equipment and tooling in the mobile service vehicle. Ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition, with proper fluid levels, tire pressures, and other necessary inspections and repairs.
Qualifications
High school education or GED required.
A&P License is required.
Knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145 is required.
A minimum of 3 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
Experience on Cessna, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft is preferred.
