The Associate, Supply Chain Planning (Temporary) will work with the entire Supply Chain Planning team to help execute plans to meet the needs of our customers, while optimizing inventory and costs. They will help with transactional duties, reporting and work cross functionally to optimize the Supply Chain Planning responsibilities. This is a temporary role estimated to last approximately six (6) months. The assignment may be extended or shortened based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Maintain forecasting and safety stock files for stock buys
Evaluate inventory for liquidation and scrap opportunities
Analyze sales data and trends to develop an S&OP plan
Work closely with Merchandising, License Management leaders, Production and Sourcing teams globally in the planning of finished goods
Refresh month-end reports and maintain KPI tracking
Provide key support and administrative assistance to the finished good planning and S&OP processes
Create and update Stock Transfer Orders (STOs)
Process intercompany PIR requests
Assist with creating heat seal purchase orders
Update SAP MRP/Planning Parameters to ensure system accuracy including Safety Stocks, MOQ, Lead Times, and MRP Data
Assist in program roll up process, adding approved PIRs, firming requisitions, updating Demand Eval reports and cleanup of old programs
Create biweekly stock buys and assist with firming stock requisitions
Refresh and distribute hot market inventory reports for sales
Other duties or tasks as assigned
Keep all sensitive matters confidential

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems
Must possess good mathematical skills
Detail oriented; accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved showing concern for all processes and tasks, no matter how small
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of staff and outside customers/suppliers
Enthusiastic positive person who embraces and facilitates change with a sense of urgency and persistence
Must be responsive to the needs of internal and external customers, employ diplomacy and tact, and work well in a team environment
Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
Include: Problem solving, Analytical skills, interpreting data, make recommendations, critical thinking skills
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred; additional experience in lieu of degree considered
Zero (0) to One (1) of experience with an interest in a supply chain related field

The salary range for this posted position is $20.00 - $25.00 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
