Regulatory Filings Project Manager
Basic Purpose Provides project management and coordination for regulatory filings, and interfaces with regulators, customers and external parties on regulatory matters. This includes compliance, responding to commission inquires, participating in working groups, and oversight on filings before the Commission Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Acts as the project manager for various regulatory filings (70%) Develops timelines and deliverables Assembles and leads cross-functional project teams to ensure quality project deliverables Monitors project deliverables and progress through ongoing communication with project members and stakeholders Manages the discovery process Serves as a liaison between the company, regulatory agencies, and the public Ensures that all regulatory compliances are completed on time Resolves routine questions and problems posed by team members, internal customers, regulatory agencies, and the public (20%) Conducts appropriate research and analysis to support regulatory filings, tariff interpretation, and internal and external customer requests Evaluates and ensures compliance with related regulations and criteria (10%) Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company Performs related duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialty from an accredited school and 6 years of related experience Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 10 years of related work experience Demonstrated knowledge of electric and gas utility operations and processes, regulatory rules and regulations, and board business perspective Demonstrated skills such as analytical, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, project management, and detail oriented Depending on qualifications of applicants, this position may be filled at a lower level than that which is posted such as Project Manager-Delivery or Associate Project Manager-Delivery About Us
