Teach a full schedule of developmental and transfer‑level business administration courses, including introductory to advanced topics, business communication, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, personal finance and investing, human resource management, marketing, and supervisory/management as assigned. Develop and maintain effective, dedicated, and exemplary instruction in the Business Administration department. Engage in appropriate professional development activities, including community outreach and industry collaboration. Assist in the selection, development, and assessment of adjunct faculty and in delivering distance‑education courses. Participate in faculty functions, program review, student learning outcome development, and assessment activities; serve on department, college, and district committees as needed. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in business, business administration, finance, marketing, or business education; or Bachelor’s degree with Master’s in a related field (e.g., economics, personnel management, public administration, or law). Valid California Community College Credential or equivalent education and/or experience (requires equivalency). Desirable Qualifications
Experience incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion into teaching and evaluation practices. Professional experience in business (accounting, finance, management, entrepreneurship, etc.) with at least two years in a supervisory/management position. Experience building and maintaining community and industry partnerships; developing new academic programs and curricula responsive to employer needs. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, LLMs, and social media for classroom instruction. EEO Statement
