Position Summary As a leader of people, you will provide direct production floor leadership to colleagues engaged in the formulation and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. This supervisory position will lead 2nd shift Oral Solid Dose (OSD) tablet manufacturing within a growing operation. The role is an opportunity to gain experience and develop for future leadership positions at the site. Responsibilities
Provides clear and timely coaching to colleagues to develop capabilities, provide recognition and drive high‑level execution & performance. Responsible for hiring, steering the culture and morale of the team, and using the Zoetis progressive disciplinary process as necessary.
Acts as a Leadership Team member of a 24/7 operation. Expected to respond to off‑hour phone calls and maintain flexibility within the schedule to be present with the corresponding shifts to support and partner with other Leadership Team members.
Has a clear understanding of LEAN principles and how to apply them to the production floor for scheduling, crewing, equipment reliability, reduction in the 8 types of waste and continuous improvement purposes.
Ensures manufacturing is performed following current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) guidelines, SOP/controlled documents, and training for each job position. Supports Quality investigations of process deviations.
Applies Continuous Improvement tools to improve in the following areas: leader standard work, schedule attainment, performing root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are completed, performing process confirmation, and following an effective escalation process.
Must ensure efficient execution of the production schedule, while keeping colleague safety and product quality at the forefront.
Mentors and develops present staff for future growth & advancement.
Fosters harmony & collaboration between shifts, OSD facilities, and site teams as a whole. We Are One Zoetis mindset.

Skills, Education, and Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory / people leadership experience with demonstrated success in performance management and development.
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Leadership experience, Pharma industry experience, and education to date to be considered in lieu of a degree.
Oral Solid Dose/Tablet Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of colleagues and management across organizational boundaries. Candidate must possess flexibility and agility to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities.
Must be willing to quickly learn and become proficient in common systems used to manage the business – production schedule, quality deviations, ERP system, change control, KRONOS.
Work Environment / Shift
Colleague may be required to work near moving mechanical parts with moderate noise level where the use of hearing and eye protection and other personal protective equipment is required.
This is an off‑shift position. Support of other value streams and other value stream employees and flexibility within off‑shift hours will be necessary.
Must be capable of leading shared resources and personnel allocated across two separate OSD facilities, including splitting own time and presence between areas.
