Overview The TV Project Manager plays a key role in bringing Advisors Excel clients to life on television. This position supports the execution of television projects from start to finish, serving as a point of contact and trusted partner for advisors throughout the process. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and production partners—making real‑time decisions, solving challenges, and balancing creative vision with operational realities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys managing projects, and takes pride in delivering a standout advisor experience while driving meaningful marketing results.
What You’ll Do
Own the full lifecycle of assigned television projects from onboarding through final delivery
Serve as a primary point of contact for advisors, setting expectations and managing scope, timing, and deliverables
Plan and manage television shoots based on advisor goals, production capabilities, capacity considerations, and AE best practices
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and accountability in Workfront
Coordinate production kickoff meetings, onboarding calls, and cross‑functional alignment
Develop and distribute detailed shoot agendas, itineraries, and production plans
Manage logistics, travel, accommodations, and day‑of‑shoot execution, resolving real‑time challenges as they arise
Exercise professional judgment to balance advisor requests, operational constraints, and performance goals, including handling advisor pushback when needed
Oversee revisions and perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and production quality
Communicate proactively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and continuously improve execution and efficiency
Experience You’ll Bring
Experience managing deadline‑driven projects with multiple stakeholders, shifting priorities, and firm delivery dates
A customer‑service mindset and comfort supporting guests, clients, or external partners
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, resourceful approach to problem‑solving Confidence holding others accountable to deadlines while maintaining positive working relationships
A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑moving environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data tracking and basic reporting
Bonus Points
Familiarity with tools like Workfront, Asana, Monday, or Smartsheet
Experience coordinating events, live productions, or on‑site shoots
Exposure to compliance or review processes
