Buyer I – Madison, MS / Oklahoma City, OK – Evergreen V2X Inc – Level 1 Buyer

Job Responsibilities

Screen purchase requisitions (PR) from programs and award low‑value orders.

Collaborate with end‑users to resolve discrepancies in received PRs.

Act as sponsor for onboarding new suppliers.

Conduct denied‑party screenings, track annual recertifications and insurance certificates.

Act as expeditor to track critical shipments.

Generate and maintain reports per team lead instructions.

Prepare all documentation required by government and company policies.

Travel on temporary assignments to programs both CONUS and OCONUS as needed.

Support other projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent; one year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.

0–2 years of professional experience in procurement or related field.

Customer‑service oriented, detail focused, proactively seeks improvement, and manages multiple tasks.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Sales and data analytics experience is a plus.

Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.

U.S. citizenship required.
