About the Practice We are a well-established, patient-centered private ophthalmology practice seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Glaucoma Surgeon to join our growing team. Our practice offers comprehensive eye care with a strong referral base, modern diagnostic technology, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Overview The ideal candidate will provide medical and surgical management of glaucoma, including advanced and minimally invasive procedures. This role offers the opportunity to build a robust glaucoma service within a supportive private practice setting.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage all forms of glaucoma and ocular hypertension

Provide comprehensive patient education and follow-up care

Collaborate with comprehensive ophthalmologists and optometrists

Participate in practice growth and quality initiatives

Perform glaucoma surgeries, including:

MIGS procedures

Laser treatments (SLT, LPI)

Traditional glaucoma surgeries (trabeculectomy, tube shunts)

Qualifications

MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited glaucoma fellowship

Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology

Eligible for medical licensure in Texas

Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
