POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager is responsible for delivering assigned projects on time, on budget and within the agreed scope and quality levels. To do this, the Project Manager must coordinate resources between all sites in the West Region. They are also responsible for supervision of WMS Superusers and WMS Troubleshooters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely and supports WMS Superusers and Operations teams through assigned projects
Prepares and presents regularly scheduled project updates to general managers, project teams and clients
Leads and motivates the team to effectively deliver the project outputs
Drives continuous improvement through the recommendation of new technology
Ensures Project Management controls are in place
Ensures that project, audit, legal and project related business risks & issues are identified, communicated, understood, and managed
Ensures that the prescribed DSV project management methodology is adhered to
Coordinates completion and transition between tasks and distributed teams
Responds to and resolves project issues and mitigates risks appropriately
Monitors and controls all aspects of the project
Maintains a clear view of the project's technical and business objectives
Ensures that proper processes are implemented to ensure continuity after implementation which includes training, implementation of SLA etc.
Stays abreast of best practices in Project Management as a profession
Works both independently and in teams

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience
Min. 3 years of experience in managing projects, including, but not limited to software, hardware, cabling, and EDI implementations.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate
