LPA is seeking a passionate
Plumbing Designer
to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. As a member of our Systems engineering team, you will work on a broad range of projects from office, education and recreation buildings to laboratories, health care facilities, and performing arts centers. Our award-winning projects aim to have a positive and enduring environmental, economic and social impact. You will join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary design team, and you will impact projects at each stage of design. What you will do:
Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA
Assist Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers in the execution of building design assignments
Prepare engineering calculations and documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documents
Select equipment, systems and products related to projects
Review and process construction administration documents
Attend construction meetings and field visits

Plumbing Designer Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
0-5 years of experience in design of plumbing and/or fire protection systems
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred
Enthusiastic commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary design process
Curious and open minded
Strong written and verbal communication skills
