Location Iron Bull Distillery, Halethorpe, Maryland. The plant operates on a 4-day workweek schedule, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays. Shift: 5:00pm-3:00am.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD).
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing PLC troubleshooting skills.
Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
3+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience.
Ability to work 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, on night shift with overtime on Fridays as necessary (5:00pm-3:00am).
Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues.
Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
Associate’s or technical degree, preferred.
