This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Position is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Independently performs advanced research and modeling.
Design and develop, mathematical, statistical analysis and other automated systems models using tools such as SAS and Vantage.
Apply scientific principles and mathematical methods to quantitative techniques to solve problems.
Identify and analyze problems; use sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions; find alternative solutions to complex problems.
Serve as operations research/system analyst.
Requirements
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Position requires a 1-year probationary period if the requirement has not already been met.
You may be expected to travel up to 25% for this position.
Must be able to obtain and main a Secret security clearance.
