Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot semiconductor equipment Perform sustaining maintenance (PM/CM) Install new equipment and retrofits Experience with Precision Surface Processing tools Must be self‑motivated and able to take instruction from a senior Field Service Engineer to grow into a stand‑alone service provider Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of field service engineer support at a PVD equipment company or in PVD/Ion Beam‑related work preferred Previous semiconductor experience required and/or Avionics Maintenance Willing to travel up to 80% during the first year for training, and travel reduces to approximately 50% once fully trained as an FSE AS or BS degree in electronics, robotics, material science and engineer, mechanical engineering, physics or related field + minimum of 5 years' experience in field service support at a PVD equipment company or PVD/Ion Beam–related company or on the specific toolset preferred Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
