Gpac is seeking a
Maintenance Superintendent (Night Shift)
to lead and develop a maintenance team while ensuring smooth, efficient production operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role, overseeing a maintenance crew on the night shift, including 3 supervisors, 24 mechanics, 4 electricians, and several boiler/refrigeration techs. You’ll play a key role in improving communication across shifts, driving accountability, and creating a proactive maintenance culture.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and support the night shift maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable plant operations
Build strong communication between day and night shifts
Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues to minimize downtime
Hold team members accountable in a respectful, fair, and constructive way
Collaborate with production leadership to plan and prioritize maintenance activities
Promote a culture of ownership, follow‑through, and continuous improvement
Drive training and skill development for maintenance staff
Ensure compliance with food safety, safety, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading maintenance or technical teams in a food manufacturing environment (canning experience a plus, but not required)
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems
Excellent communication and follow‑through—does what they say they’ll do
Assertive and confident communicator
