Shipping Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Mauser Packaging Solutions invites qualified candidates to join as a Shipping Supervisor for the 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing shift leadership to plant warehousing/shipping employees to ensure quality and delivery performance.
Interact with supervisors, operators, engineers, maintenance, and customers.
Apply knowledge of production scheduling, safety, housekeeping, and warehousing requirements.
Supervise the movement of finished goods from receiving through shipping and returns.
Continuously measure and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions.
Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain/improve operating efficiencies, including employee productivity.
Determine orders required to ship and generate shipping documents (pack lists, bills of lading, commercial invoices, etc.).
Perform performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback, including disciplinary actions when needed.
Coordinate shipments and foster relationships with carriers.
Maintain data integrity within enterprise systems such as TMC and SAP.
Manage manpower and resources, sustain positive morale, and set challenging yet reasonable standards and expectations.
Requirements
Experience and broad knowledge of production functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, employee relations, and customer service.
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with QAD or other warehouse management systems.
Effective communication/interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
Advanced problem‑solving skills and persistence.
Availability to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.
Basic math skills.
Forklift or power industrial truck certification.
Self‑starter.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
Use of hands/fingers to perform job functions.
Capacity to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to work in non‑climate controlled environment, temperatures over 90°F.
Site Specific
Facility runs 24/7 excluding holidays or scheduled shutdowns.
3rd shift: Monday‑Friday rotating 10:50 pm to 7 am.
Salaried exempt position, minimum 40 hours per week onsite, with after‑hour calls or coverage of other supervisors' time off.
Requirement to wear required PPE.
Compensation Pay range: $65,000–$79,000 per year, based on experience, location, and qualifications.
