Current Need:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Lead Technical Project Manager
to serve as the cornerstone of our
Product Management planning process . This critical role will ensure alignment between business objectives, product vision, and team execution by driving our
Program Increment (PI) planning activities, creating and managing our product request demand intake, and driving process creation and iteration to improve key performance indicators and metrics across the Product team . The ideal candidate is skilled with JIRA, opinionated on planning tools and processes, demonstrates experience with
Agile frameworks (SAFe) , and possesses exceptional orchestration skills to drive collaboration, accountability, and execution across multiple teams in a highly matrixed organization.

Best practices are your north star, and you’re always on the lookout for ways to improve, even if it means challenging the status quo. Tackling complex, cross‑functional challenges is your calling, and you have a knack for breaking them down into actionable, manageable steps that drive alignment and measurable results across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary facilitator for
PI Planning events , ensuring alignment across multiple Agile teams for the next 8–12 weeks.
Drive
business objective alignment , dependency mapping, and risk identification during PI Planning sessions.
Ensure transparency and predictability by maintaining clear visibility into plans, progress, and challenges.
Partner with Product Managers to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization.
Partner with Release Management and Engineering teams to support the execution of product development, testing, and release functions.
Develop dashboards, reports, and collateral for the product team to understand and action on work which affects KPIs and metrics.
Work hand in hand with the product executives on process adoption and improvement.
Document and maintain all processes for the product organization internally as well as its touchpoints across the McKesson organization.
Collaborate with Agile planning and execution teams to collect, analyze, and interpret Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, predictability, capacity).
Provide actionable insights to Product Management for prioritization and resource planning.
Drive transparency and accountability for deliverables and timelines.
Identify and mitigate risks impacting planning and execution.
Drive additional projects and programs internal to the product organization as identified and prioritized.
This role will continue to evolve as process creation and adoption takes place across the product organization.
Minimum Requirement:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
Critical Skills:
10+ years of experience in
technical project management
within Agile environments.
Proficiency in
Jira
and Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
Proven experience facilitating
Program Increment planning
and related milestones.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle and software development processes.
Experience in enterprise level technology development.
Demonstrated ability to work in a large matrixed organization.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with Confluence and other Atlassian tools.
SAFe or Agile certification (e.g., SAFeSPC, PMI-ACP, CSM).
Working Conditions:
Remote work environment.
Occasional travel required, up to 20% of the time.
