Our growing company is seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our team of construction professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong estimating background, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. This person will play a key role in streamlining our estimating process and helping to support continued growth across our playground, shade, and construction divisions. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the estimating function—from creating accurate takeoffs and cost breakdowns to managing data, templates, and analysis for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Estimate time, labor, materials, and overall costs for construction projects
Create detailed proposals, budgets, and cost estimates for clients and project managers
Provide accurate quantity takeoffs and materials lists to support field and project teams
Collaborate with project managers to oversee bid processes for vendors and subcontractors
Maintain organized and up-to-date estimate files for reference and reporting
Qualifications
Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial
3+ years of experience in the construction industry (estimating or project management preferred)
Strong math, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and estimating software
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience in commercial playground or shade structure installation is a plus
Compensation $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
