Key Responsibilities
Work independently with internal and external teams to manage the lifecycle of challenging cross‑functional projects, acting as owner to deliver on project objectives.
Actively participate in engineering reviews and influence solutions at the system, component, and architectural level.
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to set priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines.
Lead and coordinate execution of systems and automated equipment designs, performing installation, throughput, and safety qualifications.
Lead effective meetings, set objectives, document decisions, and ensure alignment across teams.
Communicate project status, risk analysis, and mitigation plans to leadership and management.
Articulate system and equipment designs, including layouts, technical specifications, and functional capabilities to internal customers.
Manage change orders, purchase orders, and invoice validations.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple projects.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to increase engineering and cross‑team efficiencies.
Manage up to 75% regional travel annually; enable remote work from a corporate office when not traveling.
Day in the Life You manage one or multiple projects of varying scope, complexity, and duration. Your daily tasks include: site coordination with operations teams and contractors, deep diving into project progress and resources, facilitating planning or implementation meetings, capturing and publishing meeting notes, reviewing sorter system functional specifications, tracking sorter configuration creation, brainstorming workaround solutions, performing system installation quality and performance qualifications, and supporting training of other engineering team members.
About the Team The OE Execution Team delivers automation infrastructure projects related to material handling, storage, processing, and delivery across North America. The team is highly collaborative, continuously improving through lessons learned and strives to raise the quality bar on each project.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering
4+ years of experience as an industrial, operations, manufacturing, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment
Experience with material handling equipment (MHE)
Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies, and storage solutions
Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing third‑party vendors
Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
Master’s degree in engineering, management, or technology
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project)
