NEW FELINE ONLY PRACTICE Community Cat Clinic in Duluth, GA Providing quality, affordable care for pet and community cats Community Cat Clinic, an independent (non‑corporate owned facility) in the northern Atlanta suburb of Duluth, GA is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic lead veterinarian to join our team in a unique enterprise to ensure access to veterinary care. We have a distinct hospital concept of team‑based, patient centered veterinary care combined with affordable pricing and a variety of payment options to ensure more feline families have access to veterinary care. We practice low‑stress medicine and our team are all fear free trained.

We believe in balancing work with life needs by providing a four‑day work week, generous competitive salary, health insurance, CE, paid vacation, and 401K. Dues covered for state and national association memberships, PLIT reimbursement, fear‑free certification, and membership in the Association of Feline Practitioners. No after‑hours or emergency calls. Additionally, our team members enjoy paid holidays and have the entire week between Christmas and New Year’s off with pay.

Community Cat Clinic is a feline‑only general practice providing veterinary care, dentistry, soft tissue surgeries, and quality sterilizations for pet and feral cats serving families and animal welfare organizations. We are a growing one year old clinic and have decided now is the time to add a lead veterinarian to the team. If you are a seasoned veterinarian and skilled surgeon, this may be the ideal position for you.

We are recruiting a lead veterinarian with a positive, upbeat demeanor, who is willing to help mentor and develop our associate veterinarians, technicians, and associates. The lead veterinarian collaborates with the practice owner in establishing strategic goals and updating medical standards and partners with the practice manager to oversee the medical team. They oversee the daily management of associate veterinarians, including scheduling and ensuring compliance with record‑keeping requirements. The goal of our entire organization is to achieve the best possible medical outcomes for our patients.

We believe in finding ways to help families with their feline veterinary needs and are looking for a compassionate, empathetic lead veterinarian to join our team. We know that veterinary medicine can be a challenging career, and many families struggle with the costs of veterinary care. We’ll put the joy back into practice by letting you handle the medicine while our client support team works to find a plan that fits the client’s needs.

About Community Cat Clinic The Community Cat Clinic Duluth location is a newer, state‑of‑the‑art feline‑only clinic which opened in June 2024. We have the best available brand‑new equipment including the Heska Cuattro digital radiographic, in‑house lab, Midmark digital dental radiograph, nitrogen‑driven dental equipment, Snyder ICU cages, endoscope, and sonogram. We are willing to add additional equipment based on the interest and desires of our veterinary team.

Our sister location in Woodstock, GA opened in June 2023, and we plan to continue to add locations and grow the organization.

The ideal candidates for this position will be capable of multi‑tasking and overseeing the efforts of several technicians. Veterinarians willing to train and mentor competent certified veterinary technicians and assistants will be integral to the success of our model. You will enjoy the medical freedom to practice skills you’re proficient in or explore areas you’d like to learn. Training in skills beneficial to this position can be provided—especially in dentistry, high‑volume high‑quality spay/neuter, soft tissue surgery, and other areas of interest.
