Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and service delivery of residential and community programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role ensures consistent regulatory compliance, promotes a positive organizational culture, and upholds the agency's mission and values. Working closely with the Executive Director and leadership team, the Program Manager leads staff, coordinates individualized supports, ensures quality outcomes, manages risk, and supports strategic initiatives, census development, and operational growth.
Responsibilities
overseeing daily operations of sponsored residential services
supervising and supporting regional program staff
monitoring service delivery
ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards
acting as a liaison among individuals served, families, guardians, and community partners
collaborating with leadership to develop and implement budgets
providing on-call support and responding to crises
implementing and tracking corrective action plans
representing the agency in professional meetings
participating in data-driven leadership and growth planning meetings
coordinating with other Program Managersassisting in developing and maintaining communication
supporting strategic goals
Qualifications
a bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related field
a minimum of two years of professional experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
preferred experience in a supervisory, leadership, or program management role
a valid driver's license
ability to communicate verbally and in writing
good organizational skills and attention to detail
proven supervisory skills
capability of working flexible hours
the ability to travel between service sites, staying overnight as necessary
