About The Republic of Tea: At The Republic of Tea, we are passionate about delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our Shipping Department and help ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities: Pick orders using an automated pick cart, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Scan and verify items, follow light assignments, and place products in the correct shipping container. Safely pack products for shipment, including adding packing materials, taping boxes, and applying shipping labels. Move packed orders to the shipping conveyor for processing. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety guidelines. Cross-train in all areas of the department to support team operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements: High School diploma or GED preferred. Ability to lift and push 50 lbs. multiple times daily. Comfortable standing and walking for long periods (up to 12 hours per shift). Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure. Basic reading and math skills for order processing. General knowledge of computers and ERP systems is a plus. Forklift experience preferred but not required.
