Entry Level Pharmacy Technician - 1st Shift Job at Actalent in Newport

We are immediately hiring for multiple Entry-Level Pharmacy Technicians here in the northern Kentucky area! These are all 1st shift openings in a closed-door pharmacy setting (meaning you will not be dealing with patients directly). This is an entry-level role meaning no experience or certification is required, although prior Pharmacy Technician experience or being Certified as a Pharmacy Technician would be preferred. This role is also open due to an immediate project, so the job will last for at least 3-6 months. Depending on performance and need, there may be opportunity for these to turn into permanent, long-term roles as well! Either way this would be a great way for someone to start getting experience in the field! Job Title: Pharmacy Technician As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining automated dispensing equipment. Your responsibilities will include preparing and packaging medications with precision and care, performing quality control checks to ensure accuracy and safety, and adhering to pharmacy policies, procedures, and all state and federal regulations.
