Internal Medicine Physician

Locums Internal Medicine Physician Location: Bozeman, MontanaStart Date: April 6, 2026Contract: 13 weeks with option to extendSchedule: 4 days/week, 8 AM - 5 PM (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)Clinical Role

• Hospital-based clinic
• Patient census: 11 patients/day (no pediatrics)
• Cases: Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension), medication refills, occasional cold/flu
• Support: APP and MD backup, full hospital subspecialty support
• EMR: Epic
• No procedures required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Family Medicine not accepted due to bylaws)
• Montana Medical License (or willing to license)
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required

Practice Environment

• 13 physicians and 10 APCs across 3 locations
• Geriatric, palliative care, and home care teams
• NCQA Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home
• CPC+ participant
• Active educational site for NP, PA, BSN, MA students
• ACP educational opportunities available
