About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Emergency Services to lead strategic planning, business development, and the implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and care quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence in patient care, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards in healthcare delivery. Key duties include driving performance improvement initiatives, implementing patient throughput strategies, and developing policies and procedures to meet healthcare standards. The role also involves leading efforts to improve operational efficiency, managing budgets, and cultivating superior clinical identity through quality strategies.
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of recent acute care emergency services leadership experience. Experience in managing Level 1 or 2 trauma centers with high patient volumes is essential. The role requires an active RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving organizational growth. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, exceptional communication, and leadership skills are necessary to inspire teams and stakeholders. The Vice President will also be responsible for talent management, employee engagement, and development initiatives within the emergency services line.
