About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic and operational efforts. The successful candidate will be the primary staff leader, responsible for the organization's strategic direction, fundraising, and daily operations. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, clinical entities, research faculty, and key stakeholders to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the organization. Approximately 70% of the role will be dedicated to fundraising, including the development and execution of comprehensive strategies to engage individual major donors, institutional funders, and corporate sponsors. The remaining 30% will focus on organizational operations, team management, and ensuring operational excellence.
Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior leadership experience in a nonprofit environment, preferably in health, medical research, or education, with a proven track record in fundraising. The role requires excellent strategic thinking, financial management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a Board of Directors, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and a strong commitment to ethical stewardship, accountability, and diversity. The Executive Director will also be responsible for external relations, community engagement, and representing the organization at various events.
