About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Media - Awareness and Consideration to lead the transformation of its digital marketing strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling the company's awareness and consideration marketing engine, with a focus on paid social media and streaming/connected TV advertising. This role is pivotal in the company's shift towards a more integrated, digital, and customer-centric approach. The VP will be tasked with driving significant growth in these channels, establishing measurement frameworks, and proving their contribution to the business. A key aspect of the role is to educate and influence the organization on the value of mid-funnel marketing, moving beyond a sole focus on direct response.

Candidates for this role must have a minimum of 10 years' digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years specifically in managing paid social and streaming/CTV campaigns. A proven track record in complex, considered-purchase categories is essential, with a preference for those with experience in financial services, insurance, or other trust-intensive industries. The role requires a leader with a strong background in mid-funnel measurement, the ability to manage and develop teams, and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills. The VP will be expected to navigate a highly regulated environment, and experience in this area is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, adept at building processes from scratch, and capable of operating without perfect infrastructure.
