About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its dynamic and fast-growing division. This role is pivotal in a high-growth environment, where the CFO will be instrumental in scaling operations, optimizing performance, and driving strategic decisions to support the company's expansion. The successful candidate will lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. A key responsibility is to oversee P&L performance across branches, with a deep understanding of the mortgage industry economics. The CFO will also be tasked with developing financial models and KPIs to support rapid scaling, managing relationships with banking partners, auditors, and regulatory bodies, and ensuring compliance with mortgage industry regulations.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the mortgage industry in a senior finance role, with a proven track record of managing P&L responsibility for branch operations. A deep understanding of mortgage industry nuances, such as compensation structures, warehouse lines, margin analysis, and regulatory requirements, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a history of success in high-growth or scaling environments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategy. The role requires a hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically, and who is adept at building and mentoring a finance team.
