Summary CHENEGA INDUSTRIAL GROUP, LLC – the Laborer, Fuels duties will include supporting the Foreman and other site supervisors with tasks required to complete all project site work at the assigned location.
Responsibilities
Support the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.
Wear and use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, hardhat, etc.
Participate in Quality Control and Safety Program.
Perform daily checks on company-provided equipment and vehicles.
Support other on-site crew members in fueling system maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
Operate typical construction site tools and equipment.
Maintain construction tools and equipment.
Work in confined spaces as required.
Perform debris cleanup.
Travel up to 85% of the time to various sites in TX, AR, LA and OK.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
Minimum one (1) year experience as a heavy/industrial construction laborer.
Valid State Driver’s License and deemed insurable under company policy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to travel up to 85% of time throughout various sites in TX, AR, LA and OK.
Ability to complete OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Course or equivalent basic orientation and safety training.
Ability to read, write and receive written and/or verbal instructions in English.
Ability to complete confined space entry training.
Ability to be trained/certified to operate specialized construction equipment.
Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions.
Ability to be punctual and possess the patience to work under stressful conditions.
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
