Housekeeper/General Cleaner – Shift: 6:00pm‑10:00pm, Monday‑Friday
Location: St. Louis (Manchester & 270). Pay: $11/hour.
Responsibilities
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms.
Emptying trash (sometimes heavy) and hauling to the dumpster.
Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools and procedures.
Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, windows, cleaning and moving furniture and equipment.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Use proper PPE where required.
Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
Assist in on‑the‑job training for employees with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude, uniform, dependable and on time.
Show respect and understanding for co‑workers and customers.
Communicate in English.
Qualifications and Experience
1–2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper is a plus but not required.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.
Ability to be flexible, work at a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked job is a must.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Physical Demands
Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
Read cleaning instructions and differentiate cleaning products and uses.
