as an Art Teacher Assistant in the Bergen and Essex County area. This part‑time position allows you to support K‑12 and adult art classes in a dynamic studio environment.
Pay Range $15.49 – $20.00/hr
(based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in a variety of classes including Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Manga/Cartooning, and Sculpture.
Work approximately 5–10 hours per week after 3 p.m., ideal for art students or individuals with flexible schedules.
Travel to after‑school programs, senior and community centers to provide classroom support.
Participate in training sessions and help develop engaging, accessible art lessons.
Maintain a supportive, fun learning environment for students of all ages.
Qualifications
Passionate about art and creative education.

Always prepared and open to innovative ideas.
Excellent customer‑service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Access to reliable transportation to and from job sites.
