Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Assist in physical care and activity support, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Collaborate with team members and report progress daily.

Qualifications

18 years of age.

High school diploma or GED.

Passionate about helping children with autism; patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.

Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if not done in the last year).

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift/ carry up to 50 pounds.

Certify as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) after completing onboarding.

Compensation Pay Range: $19 – $24 per hour. This range represents the full range of potential wages for employees with this title and varies with qualifications, performance, experience, and/or seniority.
