We are an industry leading residential landscape company with both a design & build team and a full-service maintenance division dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are currently seeking a motivated Studio Designer (Entry-Level) to join our design team. Position Overview
As a member of Terren’s Design Studio, you will collaborate closely with landscape architects and senior designers throughout all phases of the design process, from conceptual development through construction documentation. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging designer eager to grow within a collaborative, studio-based environment. Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site analysis, research, and field measurements, producing accurate surveys and base maps Assist in the development of design concepts and preliminary layouts, contributing to creative design solutions Produce drawings, models, and digital renderings for client presentations Support the preparation of construction documents, details, and specifications Assist in developing accurate cost estimates for projects Collaborate closely with senior designers and construction teams Revise and update drawings based on feedback, coordination, and evolving project requirements Maintain organized project files and uphold studio standards Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Construction, Environmental Design, or related field (or anticipated graduation) Strong graphic and design skills with attention to detail Proficiency in AutoCAD and Land F/X; familiarity with SketchUp, Lumion, LMN, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred Foundational understanding of landscape materials, site grading, planting design principles, including the ability to identify common plant species Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational abilities Ability to take direction, manage time effectively, and collaborate with team members while balancing multiple projects What We Offer
