Behavior Technicians

(BTs) and

Registered Behavior Technicians

(RBTs) to provide one on one quality ABA therapy to children with Autism. You will help children build essential skills through guided play and compassionate support, all while having fun.

No experience required! We have openings in Charlotte, Matthews, Conover, Hickory, and Shelby, with opportunities coming soon at our Therapy Farm in Huntersville (2026). WHY BECOME AN RBT AT AUTISM 360 Meaningful Work Make a real difference in the lives of children and families affected by autism Create positive change through connection, compassion, and play Training and Support Full training and certification coordination for all new hires Ongoing skill development and mentorship from experienced BCBAs Electronic device for real time data collection Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture Opportunities for career advancement and leadership roles Eligible for Master’s program education credits toward BCBA certification Program oversight, supervision hours when applicable, and career pathways Scheduling and Hours Center hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm Block scheduling with 3 hour sessions (8-11, 11-2, 2-5) Required availability is M-F 8-5 and/or 11-5 Scheduling team dedicated to consistent hours for staff Technicians typically receive 30 to 36 hours per week Variable schedules based on client availability and prescribed hours Compensation and Benefits Comprehensive paid RBT training and certification program Competitive compensation based on education and experience: $18-27/hour Full benefits package including telehealth, medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, 401k, and paid time off (PTO) Reward and recognition programs ABOUT THE POSITION As an RBT, you will play a hands‑on, play based role in helping children with autism build essential skills through compassion, connection, and meaningful interaction. This is an in‑center position where you will spend your days engaging in guided play, shared activities, and structured learning moments designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will help children communicate, grow, and gain confidence in a safe, joyful environment that celebrates every step forward. No experience is required, just heart, patience, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans to build communication, social, and life skills Build strong, trusting relationships with each child and family Record accurate behavior data and convert session notes promptly Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and broader clinical team Deliver high quality one on one therapy within scheduled 3 hour blocks Requirements Related experience working with children including but not limited to childcare, daycare, nanny, babysitting, special education classroom aid, paraprofessional, preschool pre‑k or early childhood assistant, pediatric healthcare, camp counselor, after‑school program, etc High School Diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation and auto insurance Strong computer and technology skills Must obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire if not already certified Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test Ideal availability from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday Minimum availability from 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, and transition between positions regularly Autism 360 celebrates diversity and longevity within our teams.
