Job Description
The Savannah R-III School District is looking for a certified Special Education teacher. The successful candidate should be able to provide students a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, be organized, possess exceptional time management skills, and be well versed in special education practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can motivate and encourage learners to maximize their learning potential.
Provide students with a variety of instructional strategies that address the needs of diverse learners.
Demonstrate excellent organization, time‑management, and specialization in special education practices.
Motivate and encourage students to maximize their learning potential.
Implement Classroom Wide Curriculum (CWC) and Direct Instruction in a self‑contained and pull‑in environment at the elementary level.
This position is for the 2026–27 school year.
