Manicurist Requirements
Provide the Community with proof of current Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage unless the Manicurist has no employees and is personally exempt from such insurance coverage requirements.
Maintain current manicurist’s professional and premises liability insurance and provide the Community with evidence of such coverage.
Maintain the nail salon or designated service area in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
Order and pay for all necessary supplies required to perform nail services, unless otherwise arranged through the Community Executive Director.
Provide the Community with a schedule of rates; Community approval is required prior to use.
Operate nail services on a regularly scheduled basis and in a manner acceptable to the Community Executive Director and residents, acknowledging services are provided primarily for the convenience and availability of residents.
Pay rent to the Community per month for the use of salon space, due and payable by the 5th of each month (no rent payable until 7/1/26).
Act at all times in a manner that is supportive of the Community and its management.
Maintain a current shop or salon license and a valid manicurist or nail technician license, as required by state regulations.
Manicurist Qualifications
Must hold a valid state‑issued manicurist or nail technician license.
Experience working with geriatric clientele, including memory care residents, strongly preferred.
Ability to provide gentle, resident‑centered nail care with attention to safety, hygiene, and comfort.
