About the Role A forward‑thinking and attainment‑focused Greenwich primary school near Kidbrooke Station is looking to appoint an
Intervention Teaching Assistant
to deliver targeted academic support across Upper KS2. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys structured small‑group work and making a measurable impact on pupil progress.
As an
Intervention Teaching Assistant , you will work with pupils who require additional support in reading comprehension, writing structure, and Maths fluency. Interventions are well planned, tracked, and supported by the SENCo and phase leader, with clear objectives and regular review points.
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience delivering academic interventions in KS2
Is confident supporting Maths and English learning objectives
Can assess progress and adapt sessions accordingly
Communicates clearly with teaching staff and SEN support teams
Is organised, patient, and confident leading small groups
Graduates in English, Maths, Education, Psychology, or similar subjects are particularly encouraged to apply.
